Your photograph is printed as a thin plastic panel whose thickness varies: where the photograph is dark, the plastic is thicker and lets less light through. Colour comes from dye layers printed on top. Switch on the light behind the panel and the light passes through, and the photograph appears.

Bright, clear photographs with one or a few large faces. Dark photographs, and group shots where faces are small, come out worse. When you upload, we check the file automatically and tell you if we see a problem.

It is printed from the file you send, in the framing you chose. Lit plastic is not a screen, so fine detail softens and dark areas lose the most. If what arrives is not the photograph and framing you ordered, we remake it.

Because the panel is made from your photograph, the usual 14 day right of withdrawal does not apply. If it arrives damaged, or it is not the photograph and framing you ordered, we remake it or refund you.

It is used only to make your order. We do not pass it to anyone and we do not use it for advertising. The file is deleted 90 days after the order.

By USB-C. An ordinary phone charger or a computer port works.
